FireFox Questions

I remember from my old dialup days there were some diallers or whatever that would launch certain software upon connection, for example the browser.

If there's a specific program being used to activate the connection, log in via PPPoE or whatever there may be settings in there to allow you to turn off it automaticall yopening a browser.
 
Pop-Up Ads....

Something must be working on this machine. I have not seen a "pop-up" in a long time!

I'm really glad someone here on AC told me about Firefox! And, I bookmarked the site you posted to look through it later to find out about all the faults of Firefox. Last I heard about IE is its a very risky browser to use, since MicroSoft got 'lazy' on security hacks.

Firefox has been a dependable web browser fo me...
