Which Light Is better for my aquarium I have to and since I have everything on the right track now I was wandering which light would be better? 
How much longer do you think i have in my fishless cycling ?? and my other light feels unsafe it has a weird smell coming from it almost like its burning but i never feel anything get hot or see smoke
Here is my stocking list as of right now. I have had this open on another forum and this is what I like so far.

4 guppies
1 dwarf gourami
10 cardinals
6 panda cory's
4 Chery Shrimp
And maybe some sort of algea eater

Um quick question . i have some brown sludge growing on my suction cup to my heater an i rinced it in hot tap water but what was it i hope this was not all my good bacteria my heater is right under my air stone so its prime growing grown for my bacteria . but can i get any help as to what this slugy stuff is
It's probably diatoms. Algae and crud love the rubber from suction cups...that's why I prefer not to use suction cups on heaters, on most of my tanks I just tape the cord to the back of the tank and let them vertically dangle in the corners. I've never had a problem with this approach.
Try wiping the ends of your fluorescent bulb with alcohol and let them dry. There should not be any burning smell, but maybe they got something on them which is burning off at the contact point?
It doesn't matter which light you use since you have no live plants, whatever bulb looks good to you will be fine.

i cant get a pic i have already rinsed off my suction cup with hot tap water i just wanted to know if this a issue with my fish or just something im going to have to clean
