First Aquarium 25 Gallon glass

okay so i have a question. im to the point where im having to add ammonia every 24 hours cause its turning it to nitrites that fast but my question is is it bad that i dont have algea growth even tho my nitrates are of the charts

No, algae growth takes time. If you're seeing nitrates, your tank is cycled. Adding more will just increase the nitrates. Do as many water changes as it takes to get your nitrates back down to 20 ppm or so. Your tank is ready for fish, but it needs nitrates to be at a reasonable level.

Be warned that the first "algae" you probably will see is diatoms aka brown algae...this is normal.

yea jappy i was asking if no algea is bad cause i read on some sites that your supposed to see a brown algea bloom right before your tank cycles all the way as plattytude stated and plattytude im more that sure that my tank is capable of handling fish (well maybe) but i still waiting on my ammonia to be converted to nitrates in 24 hours right now in 24 hours its only getting to nitrites and 48 hours its making it to nitrates so im having to add ammonia every night to raise it back from 0ppm to 5ppm every night cause my ammonia bac is a beast but my nitrite bac kinda sucking right now waiting for it to build up ....on a different no i picked up a seachem ph alert tab (i think it was a steel my lfs had on sale 99 cents) anyone got any reviews at all on them. i also picked up a bottle of seachem prime (as i heard its the best) for 1.50 also a steal i think for small bottle treats 500 gal

Day 30, last night i added 30ml of ammonia and by this morning at nine (12 hours later) my ammonia was at 0ppm, i didnt test nitrites idk why i just didnt but tonight I tested again at nine and 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite and well my nitrates are so high the red is almost a glowing ember color lol. well im gonna give it a few more days to see if this just a fluke but now im on to my last concern places to get fish, best places to get fish weather lfs, petsmart or out of state lfs
