I have a 5 gallon bowfront acrylic tank that i want to try, I want to keep soft coral and small inverts like shrimp,crabs,snails...
I'v done some searching, I want to know from your experience which species get along together and don't grow that bigger than 2''.
I am aiming for 1.022 ~1.025 SG.

Crabs are going to be your incompatibility component for the most part. Even hermits will kill each other off and/or eat snails and small ornamental shrimp if they can catch them.

How about a pair of sexy shrimp?

So you think I shoul keep shrimp and snails only?
Right now the tank is completely empty, trying to cycle it before adding any thing.

That would be my preference. Maybe start there and continue to research crabs that are less likely to give you issues.

It looks like there's a lot of sand. So here are some noobie questions.

How deep is your sandbed?
Does it need to be that deep?
