First crack at a 46G Planted

A new hobbyist, I started in October 2006 with a 10G and began this 46G tank after Thanksgiving. I'm dealing with some algae issues, but hopefully with some time the tank will balance. Some of my better photos were too big for this post. Oh well.

Wow, I really hope to do something like this someday. I love the sandy corridor. And what do you mean too big? Resize those pictures and let's see 'em!
 
Is that petrified wood in there?

Very nice tank! One of the nicest planted tanks I have seen around here...

Yes, it is petrified wood, I'm guessing redwood. I love the colors. It even has crystals. Beautiful stuff.
 
Very nice indeed! I like the open area in the middle with the stones, where it was intentional or not It looks simply amazing, best of luck with that!
