First day here, first thread, and new 30 day old tank. So much to learn.

Welcome to AC, Alan_Mackey! I think you should have your own thread Alan, so we can address your tank. I can ask a moderator to do that for you.

We'll try to help you. How long has your tank been set up? Did you cycle it before you added fish? I think your fish must still be small? I'm sure we'll have more questions. A pic of your tank & fish would help us to see, if you can post a few. We'll be asking about your water conditions & maintenance routine (water changes, filter cleaning, etc)...& more! It can be overwhelming, but since you posted in the newbie forum, we'll assume you need extra help. Many of us here are quite experienced in our hobby, but after 40+ years I'm still learning new things too!! That's part of the fun!

Oh, I think FishAddict meant a much bigger tank, lol. 2 angels in a 29g might work if they are either a pair or 2 females. Paradise fish are semi aggressive to each other & other fish & they like coolish temp & w/ angels, too big with all those fish. What kind of pleco? Some get huge! Glass cats are pretty wimpy & will likely be unhappy with the angels & paradise. An "aquarium catfish"? Does that mean a corydoras? If so they are schooling fish & needs to be in a group or at least 5 or 6.

I own a 29-gallon aquarium. It is home to two pairs of Titanium Scalaria, 5 Macropod fish, an aquarium catfish, one plecosoma, and 5-6 glassfish. Everything was fine until they started fighting. Is it normal for them to smash their faces so that pieces of them float in the water? Should I move them to another aquarium?

Alan, welcome.

You might want to start your own thread on this topic to gain more traction on it.

There's a "new thread" button at the top of the newbie forum page. I kinda though FF would do that for you, but just cut & paste your thread in a new 1 of you very own. We do want to help you but it gets confusing mixed in with another person's issues.
