Thanks! They disappeared as soon as I turned the lights off last night....two had reappeared this morning before I left for work....I hope this is normal.
I tried not to empty too much of the LFS water into the tank....but it was kind of cumbersome and I'm somewhat dense:duh:. It never really occurred to me until afterwards to use the net... Learn from your mistakes, I guess.

Instead of turning them off manually, you should go to Lowes or Home Depot and pickup timers. They're about $5 a piece.

The hiding is typical chromis behavior. In the wild they hide in large branching coral.

We went with Eddie...after Eddie Murphy.....the fifth Beatle....(SNL?):D

I bought timers and when I went to plug them in I realized they were lamp plugs w/o grounds. I gotta go back to Lowes and get some appliance ones w/the ground.

My Beatle history is not what it should be, I'm ashamed to say. I do remember LMAO at the SNL skit with Eddie Murphy....and my seven year old has just discovered the Beatles...gotta teach 'em right when they're young!
