First planted tank

Good beginner plants are Anubias, Java fern, Aponogetons, valiserneria, E. tenellus, (pigmy chain swords), dwarf sag, hygrophila polysperma, hygrophila difformis, (wisteria), Moneywort, Bacopa, Cryptocoryne wendtii, Cryp. lucens, lutea, Foxtail, (Myriophyllum), Ludwigia, Red temple, (alternanthera reineckii), Rotala indica, Mayaca... all pretty easy to grow plants with the light you have.

Stay away from most sword plants as they will be too big for your tank. E. parviflorus var tropica is the only sword that would really fit in your tank and not out grow it.

Thanks Robert H. From what I've read these are the kind of plants I'll be looking for. I found out that I'm going out of town the first week of March so I'll be ordering right after that. I can't wait.:)

tyler, I took the penguin 125 off yesterday. I swapped it with an AC200 from another tank. That should work better.

Thanks everyone,
Dave

I'll post some pics once I get it all together. I was going to order the plants this past weekend, but Uncle Sam wants to send me out of the country for a couple of weeks.

I'll be back mid March so I can place my orders then. I'll keep you posted.:)

Tyler718 - Hope it's just a couple weeks!

It will be. They are sending me to Norway!!!:) I went there last year. Completely beautiful country.

nutafin co2

the nutrafin set diffuser works great I added a AC mini and draw off the top of the co2 difuser so NO co2 is wasted also added a T in the line and added a extra co2 bottle to the mix.
