Salt may kill your plants if they are exposed to it for a longer period of time.
I had an outbreak in my planted tank couple of weeks ago and with a little salt (roughly 1tsp per gallon) and increased temperature everything looks OK in there. I will keep the higher temp for another week or so just to be sure and then will lower it back to normal. PWCs will get rid of the salt eventually.
