I wondered about hair alga in your earlier pic...but I thought it was just blurry. I only see it when I over fertilize &/or leave lights on too long.

I hate to admit it, but I've killed AR mini more than once. I haven't had good luck with downoi either. I think both really would like co2, Good luck!

I wouldn't trim much of the anubias root, maybe just that really long 1 heading to the left. I'd go for vertical line where it branches & leave those little side rootlets.

I trim out all of the moss yea I think forgot to turn off the light sometimes I gotta get up wifi timer so I can control it from my phone
what is downoi? I think it depends on the AR. I bought AR from a couple different seller before. This one guy I bought from I never have luck growing his AR but I have a lot of success from another AR seller that I keep in the same water and CO2 level. The tropica AR seems to be doing well I will update you once they are growing.

Timers are good, mine are not so high tech as a smartphone app, lol.

I almost always get free plants from my club so I don't feel awful if I kill them, just a little bit bad ;(
