fish attacking its own reflection....

Hi,

I just got a plain black background for my tank and my trimac starts attacking its own reflection in the background....would this be harmful to him? thanx

perfectly normal for your Trimac to do. Its when it doesnt do that, that id worry about

My black calvus did the same thing when I put up a blackground. It kinda irritates me actually. Its one of those captivity tics that just look so unnatural...

my red devil does that. i guess it better he does that then tryin to kill my pleco which he does on occasion
