I'm wondering about my tangs behavior. I have a 75 gl, with 2 emerald crabs, a scooter blenny, yellow tang, two clown fish, yellow tail damsel and a chocolate chip starfish. I know that the clown fish have odd swim patterns and the tang does too but could my tang be trying to copy the clowns? The clowns don't seem to sleep. they hang out in the corner of the tank doing their funky swimming. My one is getting bigger then the other so I am assuming that she is taking on the she role? Now in the evening, before lights go out the tang and clown fish all hang together in the corner and that is when the tangs starts acting like a goofball. Aside from his normal goofing swimming, he starts to swim a bit like the clown fish and he keeps himself in the middle of them. Does he think he is one of them? The tang also seems to have a few bite marks out of his top and bottom fins. Not many, I just noticed them. I dont' see any aggression in the tank during the day and at night the clown has a spot he goes to bed in as does the damsel.
Also, I have 4 snails. I'm not sure what type they are. Mexican red foots maybe. Not sure, don't remember what the fish guy told me. Anyway, have had them for a while now and they hang on the live rock all the time and they are all sucked up together. One right on top of the other. Right now all four of them are sucked up together?
