if that was sent my way, then yes, have 3 albino cories.. but dont believe they were around the first time it happened.. rather hope that I can see it in action once, so that I know which species I need to provide better surfaces for..

If they were Cory eggs, they would not have been all in one location. They would have been on all four sides of the tank but snails do lay their eggs all in one clump.

Yes, it's done by putting 1 conditioned female in a completely bare tank with as many males as you have. Don't feed them there or feed sparingly! As soon as she is spent, remove everybody. There's a lot more but this will get you started.
Could have been the angels. My mom had some that layed eggs all the time, but they always got eaten.
