I also flushed the fluval filter water (water inside the filter) because it looked icky and was easy to do. Bumble Bee gobies seem happier with minimal aquarium salt added (at least the healthier one did), and other fish and snails seem unaffected.
Is this a brackish tank? I’m pretty sure that Bumble Bee gobies are brackish, not freshwater, fish which might account for them liking a little salt. That aside, I’d use the prime when doing water-changes whether you use salt or - as far as I know salt will not take care of the chlorine and that could be a potential issue with the fish. Any sign of parasites or fungal infections? It does sounds like a water quality issue, so even if everything is testing normal I’d probably start doing water changes at least once a day. I hope everything gets better before you have to leave!
