Well I read something about fish eating zuchini and stuff so well I cut up some cucumber very small pieces and well my 8 inch columbian catfish started to gobble em up. My clown loaches are feeding on them as well. This isn't going to hurt em is it? Thanks a lot guys

now she just ate a whole raisin.....

I haven't seen his belly this swollen since he was about 4-6 inches! He's eaten two raisins and a bunch of pieces of cucumbers

what are cukes?

I try to feed my fish any veggie or fruit they'll eat, it's all good for them, they don't eat flake food in nature so you should definetly vary their diet a little.

EDIT: cukes are cucumbers.

What kinds of fruits and veggies could smaller fish eat? I don't think my fish could even do any harm to a cucumber. lol

When I put zucchini in my tank for the clown loaches and SAE, my rainbowfish hover over them. They won't pick at the zucchini at all, but snatch the little pieces that fly out of the loaches' mouths.

They keep the tank nice and clean :)
