When my Oscar was only about 3 inches long, my cat tried sweeping a paw in and catching him. It resulted in a scratch on Oscar's head, which thankfully is now fully healed. The troublemaker kitty has now been declawed and the tank covered more fully.
Well the other day I opened the lid to feed Oscar and the cat jumped up next to the tank and leaned his head over. So Oscar, now 6.5-7 inches leaps up and bites the cat on the nose. Cat takes off running. Funniest case of revenge I've ever seen and had to share. Love my cat, but I think it was a long time coming!
