Does anybody now any kind of live food or other that i can use as a regular diet for my fish. Right now i use wardley flake food, freeze dried blood worms made by tetra i think and thats it. They seem to nibble on algae pellets and also my sharks food shrimp pellets. Im still looking for maybe a live food. Ive tried hatching brine shrimp. It just made my room smell awful. Ive tried black worms but read that they may somehow damage a fishes insides and also are almost always diseased. I got lucky but i want to try something safer. I also read about infusoria which seems easy but are they to small to be fed to adolescet-adult fish would be the only way to describe them. No babies. I just cant figure it out and they look bored with their food.

Thanks for any help

Actually you would be best off IMO feeding a variety of foods - rather than one or two.

Varying foods bewteen flakes, pellets, frozen and maybe live - as well as the types of food will provide a much more varied diet and should result in healthier fish.

I do not feed live food - but I feed twice a day - a variety of pellets / flakes in the AM, and alternating every other night between Frozen Bloodworms and Sweetwater Daphnia
