Fish Food

I agree with slappy and flowerhorn. A varied diet is best. I prime my angels for spawning with bloodworms and during their rest period the first time I give then something different they don't like it. That first feeding is very light; just a couple flakes or pellets. By the next feeding they've gotten it into their little heads that they're not getting their bloodworms. On top of that, usually by then they're so ravenous they'd eat a dirty jockstrap, so they'll pretty much eat whatever hits the water.

I'd try the new foods a little at a time without the bloodworms and they'll learn to like other stuff. Right now they're spoiled.

I have a pair of Kribs in my 10g,they seem to only like blood worms. I have tried feeding them flake and dried shrimp, but they only pick at them. Yesterday I bought some Hikari Cichlid Staple-mini pellets, the male just spit them out.
Maybe I got them spoiled on the bloodworms?
Anybody have any suggestions as to what to feed Kribensis?
All fish tend to become accustomed to the food that you give them. However, if you wish to change their diet you can do so but don't expect them to accept the new food immediately. It may take a few days.

If you want large healthy fish feed them beef heart or earthworms.
