Sounds good. Make sure to do frequent water changes in that tank to keep the ammonia levels low while it is cycling in the early days. High quality pellet food is the easiest thing to work with and very healthy for bettas. A piece of veggie once a week will keep that snail really happy, cucumber or zuchinni. I like to add that stuff just prior to a water change so it won't foul up new water. I leave it in over night.
