i am getting my friends 135 gallon aquariam for only 500 bucks and i dont know what type of fish to get but i did have some fish in mind o ya it has like 150 puonds or more of live rock and its a reef aquariam i forgot what type of corals and lights it has though but i can tell you guys tomorrow. but i am pretty sure it has some softies and some feather duster worms and i only inteand to keep them as well as some star polyps and some shrimps and crabs and some other stuff maybe even some clams if the lighting is inteanse enough

-Scopas Tang (Zebrasoma scopas)
-some type of dragonet, mandrinfish (maybe a scooter blenny or a psychedelic mandarinfish(synchiropus picturatus)
-i thought of a sixline wrasse but im afraid it will compete for food with the dragonet
-any type of drarf angel but i had the flame angel in mind
-maybe a bangii cardinal fish (pterapogon kauderni)
-any type of cleaner fish that is from the indo-pacific
-dont think it will happen but maybe a butterfly
- some type of peaceful fish that will swim in the water colunm or maybe some type of schooling fish
-a bicolor or a midas blenny

thanks any info will be greatly appreciated

The scopas will be fine but, not if you add the butterfly that will cause a great big fight.
Dragonet would do fine after the tank is up and running for a while and if you have a large enough pod population.
6line wrasse will compete with dragonette for food but your tank will be big enough for both after it's well established especially if you have a fuge.
don't know about the flame but lots of angles eat corals especially softies.
Bangii cardinal fish are very cool and would serve your request for a schooling fish I'd get more than one though.
Stay away from cleaner wrasses they cause a lot of harm to the wild environment when removed from reefs and are VERY hard to keep alive in a tank. I'd get a few cleaner shrimp they are much hardier and make lots of plankton for your corals to eat.
Most butterflys eat soft corals/corals and will fight with your tank a copper banded might be ok ,"and let me stress might", if you don't add a tang.
blennies are always a good choice and some of them might serve as a schooling fish.

First i want to say thanks for the info

i actually was wondering if i could go with the long nose butterfly instead of maybe the tang i forgot the scientific name but i want the longnose that is reef safe well at least i think that it is reef safe becaus thats what it says in my book
o ya as for the cleaner fish i didnt meen a cleaning wrasse i ment something like a noen goby like fish that is from the indo-pacific (im thinking about doing a indo-pac. biotope)
for the schooling fish i was thinking of maybe a blue green chromis would something like 5 be all right

I have a long nose in a fowlr but, I honestly don't know how it would do in your reef. Mine picked at all the little inverts on the live rock untill it couldn't reach any more. I really wouldn't risk it with those corals or softies. The tang will be much safer in a reef. I really can't answer you about the chromis because I've never had one. The neon gobies are real cool but, IMO the scarlett cleaner shrimp will give you a lot more bang for your buck. They will out live the little neons by years.
