.....well I cleaned out our 30 gallon and moved into the spare room. I want to find some colorful small fish to put in it but not sure what kind would be good. It is a 30 gallon bowfront and I want it to be freshwater of course. Any suggestions?

For an easy freshwater fish with lots of color, Platies.

Oooo....I just looked up what they look like...pretty!

Platies, plus some black or marble mollies for color contrast.

Glo-fish are only colorful because they're genetically altered.

1 fancy goldfish.. a smaller variety such as a bubble eye or celestial

OR (I made a list that could fit in my 15g tank):

Ruby Barb- Puntius Nigrofasciatus
Blue-barred Barb- Barbus Barilioides
Chain Loach- Botia Sidthimunki
Pakistan Loach- Botia Lohacata
Bleeding Heart Tetra- Hyphessobrycon Erythostigma
Cochu's blue tetra- Boehlkea Fredcochui
Silver-tip Tetra- Hasemania Nana
3 Spot Tetra- Odontostilbe kriegi

I have a 30 long with a pair of Bolivian rams, 1 dwarf gouarmi, a school of corys and a school of neon tetras. It looks great...........Harlequin rasboras would look great too!
