yeah, I keep Platies as well, they come in almost every color, the readily breed, which is fun to see, and are quite possibly the perfect community fish.
Fish for a 30 gallon....

Where will you expect to find the blue-barred barbs (Barbus barilioides)? I have never seen these ones. And yoyo loaches are best kept in a group of 5 with a minimum tank size of 40g.
I think it would be awesome to go with a themed tank. All albino or all striped fish for example. I've always wanted to try that, but still haven't got around to it.
