uhm... i guess you should put her in a breeder net for a few weeks and wait it out... the fry should drop to the bottom of the net, and then you can take her out and feed the babies fry food until they get big enough to fend for themselves in the main tank. livebearer litters aren't notoriously large...it's likely to lose quite a few, you probably won't have more than ten babies in the long run. as far as the gestation period...i've read that mollies can hang on to their babies for 10 weeks!
ok i am good with this because that is mostly all i have(mollies).mollies will have fry once a month and mine will have around 50 to 70.we try to catch them and put them in a 10 gal tank wich we have a lot already.as they get big we then transfer them into the 55gal.good luck
it wont do anything to your tank but you just wont have any babies but if you want to keep them you can put them in a small tank and take care of them like said before and just feed them fry food untill they are big enough if you dont have and empty ten gallon they are only about ten bucks you dont need anything special just a bare tank and a filter to keep the babies in till they are big enough to fend for themselves in your main tank
Make sure you use a sponge filter in this 10 gallon. All my baby gold barbs probably ended up in my filter unit or became dinner because the filter intake will suck the fish up like a vacuum.
My mollies were pregnant but they ate all there own fry. I never saw a single fry. They will definetely need their own tank with a ton of hiding places.
