Fish Id Please!

Hey everyone,
So I bought this Diadema Basslet yesterday and it is beautiful. Only problem is, when I starting researching about the fish last night, I realized there is no way this is a Diadema Basslet. It is about 7" long, very active, eats much like a grouper, and looks nothing like the pics of Diadema Basslets I have seen on the web. It's pic is shown below, and I would appreciate your help in identifying it.

ok, so I think it's some kind of Dottyback. Anyone know what kind?

Stumps me.....but too big to be a basslet of any kind. The pic is hard to see....can't see tail or head which would give more clues than just the side color.

hey, well, it moves around a lot, so I've been having a very hard time getting a clear pic. This one is about as good as I've been able to do.
