Hi Everyone

Can anyone Identify this Fish?

I caught it in November 2007 in Lake Kyle in Zimbabwe. Not even the locals know what it is. I know there are some very knowledgeable people here, so does anyone have any idea?

It's a beautiful fish isn't it?
I released him/her straight after taking the picture.

Nevermind, some of my friends in Zimbabwe told me it's a Greenhead Tilapia (Oreochromis Macrochir).

Yep it's definitely a Tilapia and boy are they delicious!

Tilapia- almond encrusted with a tangy cranberry glaze. Fresh green beans cooked with bacon, finely chopped mushrooms and onions. Buttery spaghetti squash and a glass of Gewurztraminer.

That's my vote- and I'm sticking to it!
