Hi, I'm obviously a newbie here...
I've had aquariums since I was 6 years old so not exactly a newbie to the hobby, but there's still plenty I'm learning as I break out and try new things.

My aquariums at present are:

55 gallon planted tank with three 6" angels that are about 4 years old. One female and one male make up the breeding pair and another angel that is...I'm guessing a male since it has never laid eggs, but yet has never tried to mate with the female.
Very territorial tank. The "third wheel" is treated by the pair when eggs are around. And they do not accept any added angels.

Another 55 gal planted tank with a male angel who was taken from the first tank, 10 serpae tetras, 8 neon tetras and two cory cats. This angel has no trouble with the other community fish but our one attempt to add a smaller angel left us too nervous to leave him/her overnight.

A 29 gal planted octoganal tank with guppies and lots of fry.

A 10 gal temporary tank beside my bed with a pretty little angel about silver dollar size body and a few columbian tetras...she's growing so fast that we must have a solution for her soon. She (or he) was the one we tried with the male community tank.

And lastly a 75 gallon tank that was given to me. We've not set it up as it has no top or hood, lights, etc. It has no stand either so we are thinking about what we want to do with it while we save up some $$$

Welcome to AC!

How about making it into a saltwater aquarium and then you can have marine Angels?! ;)
