Fish information wanted

Bunny13,

I think N. marunguensis is not the same fish as N. crassus; it's a cousin.

Go to http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profiles/
and select "Tanganika" and the "Lamprologines". You can then peruse all the different subspecies.

I've been told (not verified) that it is unwise to put more than one subspecies of Neolamprologus in a tank, as interbreeding is very possible.

I'm upgrading a 55G community (Malawian) tank to a 90G, and have been thinking about adding either N. marunguensis or brichardi. I don't know if that will work, and have been seeking advice.

CR,

Wow! I sure missed that one. It seemed newer than that :)

No matter; I've since been told the cousins don't like each other that much.
