how long does it take for my gouramis lip to heal from crashing my tank too hard

the lip is red

Is it simply inflamed? Or has there been some serious damage like tearing of the lip?

If its just inflamed that should heal up in a few days to a week

my oscar has tattered fins they grow back in a few days so it mite be a few days i dont no???

Another thing to consider it why it hit the tank...Is it stressed, in too small of a tank, being harrassed? If you know or can figure out why it happened, you can avoid having it happen again
