Sorry to hear about the loss, let us know if you find anything out! Maybe they just have some sort of strange disease, I know thats not very helpful, but it sounds like you know what you're doing, so perhaps its some sort of unexplained ailment..., hope things get better!

I'd try to get some filtered water if possible. Do you have an R/O unit or maybe a carbon filter to run the water through. Sometimes refrigerators have carbon filters on them and water outlets. I'd say buy some R/O or bottled water, but 125 gallon is to big for that I'm sure.

Doesn't sound like old age. Thats too many fish at once. Maybe the water company isn't putting enough chlorine in the water.

I was thinking also maybe the flooding caused lots of bacteria to get in your water supply through a cracked pipe. So much that the chlorine couldn't deal with it. Maybe add some salt and see if the city will test your water.

That is very possible that some type of bacteria was in the water. I also have a 20 gal with white clouds and Harlequin Rasboras. I have the same Maint. schedule on that tank as well. I have done several water changes since this whole thing started and I haven't lost any fish in that tank. I can't remember the test results for that tank off of the top of my head. I will have to check that when I get home tonight.

Holly9937.... I have been keeping fish for about 11 years now but didn't really know what I was doing till about 7 years ago. I know have a 20gal FW tank, 125 gal FW tank, a 1500 gal pond, 50 gal pond, and several beta tanks. I would not call me experienced. I would rather call me a seasoned beginner or whatever. I still have lots to learn. I have been very fortunate that I haven't had to deal with many problems. I look forward to everyone suggestions because that is how we all learn.

Well I'm pretty sure that I figured out what is going on. Several people my mom works with about a 20 min drive from here are also complaining about their water. They are saying that there is a large amount of chlorine in the water. Usually you can smell it. Needless to say I will not drink our water. Well anyway even during the summer when we take our pool water in to be tested and the people there always say that everyone in our town has trouble keeping the water within levels.

Thanks for all of your suggestions and I will keep you posted if anything changes.

Quick dip makes a chlorine/chloramine test kit but it maybe hard to find b/c I know my lfs has them but I order mine online cus theu are cheaper. Your best bet is to have your water company test your tap and see if they can offer you some advice and sorry about your fish and I know it is very frustrating to lose fish.

The chlorine test kit may be found online at Big Al's, Petsmart, Petco, That Pet Place, Doctors Foster and Smith and other various online and local supply dealers.
