where?

right now i'm buying bloodworms in 40 cube packs for about $4.75 u.s. same for krill and mysis shrimp. the daily frozen feedings consist of 4 cubes of blood worms plus a few of the others. [and a few pellets and a few flakes and a few snails and a few crayfish and a few algea wafers]. who has good frozen fish chow at a good price? how much do you have to buy to not get killed in shipping cost?

Who's the other guy who spends like a dollar a day on his fish food:rolleyes:
I buy $3 in live blackworms or glassworms a week.
Use 2lbs flake a year from big als 2.99 1/2 lb
like 2 250g pack frozen blood worms a month @$2.99 each
1 500g frozen brine shrimp a month @5.99
to many specitaly foods for fresh and salt to mention.
Now do a new poll how much do you spend on water supliments and water treatments.
BTW I do get food cheap the $3 a week in live worms I buy is one solid cup no liquid.
I forgot feeder fish and the cost of their holding tank:eek:
I house a LOT of small fish.

Wow, some of you guys spend a LOT on food. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I have more fish mass than most, if not all, other people, and I spend around maybe $15 a month.

i spend 88 cents every other day for tigershrimp for my arowana, then probably 3 dollars a month for the the oscar and a dollar a month for the barbs, livebearers and about 3 dollars a month for the koi so thats probably about 20 dollars a month but 13 of it is for the arowana. i like to feed lots of live crickets, mealworms, redworms and brineshrimp. -john

i feed wardley shrimp pellets, hikari cichlid gold pellets, freeze dried krill, spirulina discs, rosie red feeders, live crayfish(from hte bait shop), and nightcrawlers. this is on a regular basis, and only spend $6 to $7 a month:cool:

I have 3 large arawana's
two soft sheld turtles
a goby I can't identify
2 dracula cats
two large bluegill
two perch.
three crayfish,
2 plecos

In winter
12-14 dozen feeders a month.
plus 250 ghost shrimp.

In summer I trap as many minnows and suckers as I can and through them in the tank. I also seine the steam bed for aquatic insects and just through them in.

Pretty cool when you get a large Dragon fly larvae and watch them catch some of the small minnows.
