fish monthly food bill

i usually get 2 or three months out of a fish food shopping trip.

A month? You people must have some fat fish! Granted, I don't have many fish (vs. what you may have) but a can of flakes, shrimp pellets, algae discs, slow sinking crumbles and a flat of brine shrimp lasts a year! O.k., maybe not quite a year, but close! I'll have to try to figure that out. Oh, I don't count the table food (spinach, lettuce, etc...) b/c I go w/o so my fish can eat.

2-7.06 oz cans of Tetra Color(monthly)+ misc. Hikiri wafers+Frozen Brine shrimp/Bloodworms. I buy the wafers and frozen in in larger quantities. The fish also get some Big Al's sinking wafers and other food that I pick up-to keep a healty varied diet.

who pays 40+ a month!!!! i got a can of flake food and bought a 1/4 of a cup of live bloodworms for a $1 and i dont even use them all
