WHITBY, ONTARIO CANADA!
Hey guys i have been savin my money and talkin to my parents and should be gettin my 40 gallon tank in about 1-2months (very happy) i am goin to go with a large piece of drift wood in the middle, and not heavily planted but still have many plants with some small caves at the bottom.

These are the fish i wanna get i think they will look good with the drift wood and plants:

5 tiger barbs (more or less give advice)

5 green tiger barbs (more or less give advice)

6 rasboras(will get larger ones but do not know if i should put them in or not)
"or possibly zebra danios?" (if so how many?)

1 shark (rainbow, redtail give advice)

THANKS for anything u think i should change or add i am really lookin forward to this tank and am ready to do it right and really injoy it!

tiger barbs are a lot of fun, but they are tricky to keep with other species without a whole lotta room. You could do a fabulous species only tank with tigers in the three color morphs--they are really pretty and active fish, but they would nip the rasboras. I've heard so many warnings about "shark" type fish that I would just avoid them all together. You like corys so you could try some of those--moving your three bronze cories and adding three more might work--if the barbs don't get them. The corys prefer more room then the ten gallon you have right now. But if you have say 5 barbs of each color morph and then a school of say 6 cories you would have a full (possibly overfull) tank.
