Fish poo'd alot

Ok so I get home today and start to clean my tank (chilchlids) and I realize my fish have poo'd like no other. I mean there poo is everywhere! I just cleaned it all out not a week ago and there is abnormaly alot. I fed them some blood worms twice this week, would that make them poo so much!? I got about 85% of it all out but need to get to bed since I work early. I plan on doing the rest tomorrow but wnat to know what is going on with all the poo.

Maybe increase the current so your filter intakes can pick more up.

The fish will only poop out what you put it. Maybe cut back on feeding. I think a lot of people including myself tend to overfeed thier fish. When I feed I use a small plastic pipette and only drop in enough so that none of it ever hits the bottom, then I squeeze in a little more. As soon as the fish become complacent enough to let food hit the bottom I stop.

Thing is their is abnormaly more this time. Feeding habits are the same. :-\
