How much does
a clown loach
a bgk
a tiger barb
a featherfin synodontis
a parrotfish
a Flower horn
a cory

cost in US?
I'm just comparing prices
 
Well this is what the price owuld be close to around hear.

Clown Loach-$7-$13 for a 2 inch one and about 35 bucks for a 7 inch one

Don't know about a bkg

Tiger Barb-$2.57-$4.00 for a l inch and up

Not sure on featherfin but I have seen some type of synodontis for 7 bucks

I guess by parrot fish you mean bloodparot. Depending on the store they can cost from $7-$25 for a 2 inch one and about $35 and up for a 6 inch one.

Flowerhorn-$10 bucks and up for a 2 inch one

Most all kinds of corys around hear cost about 4 bucks no matter what kind but I have seen a few more expencive ones.
 
Is that cheap for you,for me it is expensive,lfs sell several tigers average size of 0.8 inch for $1,so small and expensive in ur countries,sell 15cm parrots,about 6 inches for 5 bucks,clowns 2 inch 2 bucks,7 inch 9 bucks but uncommon for larger ones,flowerhorns-depends on quality

A tiger barb: I think theyre $4.99

A parrotfish: $59.99 (small)
A Flower horn: Dont know
A cory: Depends on what type, but I saw some the other day (dont remember what kind) and I think they were $5.99

Oh and I live in canada.

wow you people get fish for quite some price there.........

a clown loach : RM 8 (2 - 4 inch)
a bgk : ??? whassat ???
a tiger barb : RM 0.50 - 1.50 (any size, any type)
a featherfin synodontis ??? whassat ???
a parrotfish : assuming it's blood parrot, RM 10 - 15 (6 inch.... i hope that's the correct price, last i saw.)
a Flower horn - depending on size. assuming 1ft, ranging from RM 1000 to RM 130000.........or more.
a cory : cory what? cory cat? cory panda? cory panda is RM 3.00

1 USD = RM 3.8. 1 S$ = RM 2 .17 you do the maths..........

note that the price quoted is based on RM currency and availability at the LFS.

Lets see prices on these fish here are:
a clown loach Small ones $7.99 Large ones $34.99
a bgk no idea what you are talking about here.
a tiger barb depending on size and colour variety between 99 cents and $3.49.
a featherfin synodontis depends on size as well, small ones about 1.5 inches are $7.99 and larger ones are $19.99.
a parrotfish again not sure what fish you mean here.
a Flower horn, only ever saw one here and it was $300 at about a foot long.
a cory depends on what type but anywhere from $1.99 for albino and salt and pepper to $14.99 for sterbai to $29.99 for barbatus.
All prices are of course in Canadian dollars as that is where I live. $1 Canadian is around 60 cents USD now.
 
Of course, we should look for a local breeder or importer in our area. MUCH cheaper then LFS!!! I paid $6.00 american dollars opposed to what the LFS want, which is between $18.00-$25.00 for a 1 inch specimen of Syd. Petricola. Everyone should buy from breeders!!!
 
Its Economics Really. Prices not only differ by Country, but by the area where you live. Example: Here in Los angeles, you can probably get any type of fish and ther is ALOT of competition, So the prices tend to be lower. Now go to a place that only has one fish store, the prices will be a bit higher. Also, If you live in a POOR area, the LFS will sell the fish CHEAPER. If you live in a RICH area, the fish will be EXPENSIVE. Its Purely Economics,
