I was hoping someone out there was living in Las Vegas. We have three LFS in the Las Vegas area but i have only spent time in one. They seem to be very expensive, $100 for a very small yellow tang and about $45 for a clarki clownfish (adult size). Does this seem expensive to anyone else?

Thanks for the reply. I kinda thought they were nuts, the tang wasnt much bigger than a silver dollar. The clarki was large, they also said tank breed were more expensive. Does this make sense? The one thing I will say is that everyone in the las Vegas area uses them from the stars to the commoners like me. They have said that because they only use reputable dealers and safe practices to catch fish they are more expensive.

Most of my lfs are pretty much in line with Mono's. They are a bit higher due to limited choice ,"Knoxville Tn". We do have a really good one though and they have a lot of tank raised/ captive bread fish, frags, softies etc. Those prices are way, way out of line I would shop around. Just because a store has lot of traffic doesn't always mean it's the best either.
hope this helps
Chris
p.s.
Decided that I'd better stop there or I'd be ranting about the state of a couple of our lfs.
