fish question

that depends on what u want, 2-4 small fish would fit nice
damsils can be fun they got a lot of charicter

There are plenty of small fish that would suit a 29g, such as clowns, blennies, gobies, cardinalfish, hawkfish, wrasses, dottybacks, dartfish etc depending on the species of course. It all comes down to what fish are compatible both with the tank and eachother, and what you like the look of. Damsels are hardy and suit small tanks because of there size but they are usually aggressive fish and not normally recommended.

www.liveaquaria.com is a good place to start for looking at different fish species, it has photos and rough guides on minimum tank sizes and temperament. Its probably easier for you to pick out fish you like and then people on here can give you advice on if they'll work in your tank.

id reccommend getting liverock in their if you havent already. if the tank doesnt have any liverock in it and you put your fish in it, it could possibly cause your water parameters to spike.

In my 29g I have 2 clowns, 2 chromies and a scooter blenny. Of course, the scooter isn't recommended until your tank is mature (6 months to a yr).

I also used to have a pygmy angel in there as well...but it was a jumper.

It really depends on your filtration, your rock layout, the aggression of the fishies...

in my 29g i have a clown, a puple psudochromis and a yellow watchman goby. the clown and the goby came with the tank and the clown is the meanest fish alive. if i could have stocked it myself i'd have gone with a pair of clowns, a smaller goby than the watchman (a clown or neon) and a 4th small fish - maybe a basslet.

thank you so much everyone for your advice i really appreciate it :) i love this website!!!!
