I see you decided to go with the 48" shoplight fixtures. looks good.

Yeah, I think they worked out well. I'm going to pick up some white wall board type material and hang it from the front and kind of box in the light to act as a reflector. The lamps cost around $15 each. I wired plugs to them instead of hard wiring them.

Very nice set up you have there. It is starting to look like my basement ,only mine is in much more disaray. I should clean things up a little. LOL

What are you going to put in the tanks?

Thanks!

I'm starting an aquatics business - aquarium rental, maintenance, and consultation as well as pond installation and maintenance. I'll be using the tanks for client livestock, quarantine etc...

I'm going to put misc. fisheseses in the tanks with substrate and I think I'm going to put breeding discus pairs in the bare bottom tanks.

Thats sounds great! Goodluck and I hope everything goes well. :)

:thm:
Good luck with the biz!

Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Spartan: I have individual bio-wheels on each tank. I steered away from central filtration because I want to be able to keep water conditions individual in each tank. I may use one or two of the top tanks to hold RO/DI salt water for reef water changes. I also want to avoid disease disasters and keep a tank or two for medic.

I'm totally stoked about the new biz. I'm just about all ready to kick it off. I'm now just waiting for my liability insurance to kick in and get my resale certificate.

I will post some pics of the tanks when I have more fish. Most of the fish going in those tanks will (hopefully) be transients quarantined for a few days/weeks before I put them in clients' tanks.

Fish room is coming along...

All 33's are almost cycled and next weekend I should be placing an order and picking up some fish!

Here is the 300 gallon holding tank that I have hooked up to an RO/DI with a float valve. Behind it is a 100 gallon holding tank that we're going to use to mix and hold RO/DI sea water.

Here is the 75 gallon that I was going to set up as a reef however the glass is very scratched so I think I'm going to put this tank somewhere else and get a new 90 gallon for the reef. On the rack below is a 33 gallon tank that I converted to a refugium.
