Well, I was searching for a good water lettuce for my tank so my newt would have something to climb on. And I found one, but outdoors at a nursery. I put it in a seperate mini tank until I could figure if it was safe for my tank or not. Well, I found not. There's mites on it. I think I killed most by hand, but I can't be sure if there are some hiding in the deepest parts of the plant or in the roots or not. Does anyone know of something to kill them that would be safe to transfer with the plant to my aquarium once it's bug free?
