FISH SAFE COLORINGS???

now that i found some info on making a background wha can i do about color???

wanting to do a submerged log and roots type thing in my tank but i need to add color to it.......

how? what is FISH SAFE that i can use to color and seal my work?

Paint the back of the tank (outside, not inside) dark brown.

i kinda figured that.......but thats not what im getting at........


im needing to color the foam that carve into whatever.........thats what im asking about..........
