Fish Swimming Aimlessly After water change

I would not do anything until verified. Afa tap water goes, Only you can analyze/evaluate.
Even Prochilodus will suffer from extreme conditions as are with other fish.

Parasite? it was just mere suggestions. Cant cover all the possibility either. Both Video/close up pics should help to some degree?????

btw, although can be done and have done more or similar # of bottom dwellers in same/similar bottom surface area, that is pretty heavily stocked bottom dwellers for everyday hobbyist in 55G.

My brother got back to me and said all fish are doing well however 3 of the larger Synodontis Decora still have the glaze over their eyes and the flagtail is not very active. The 55 is just a growout tank and a 5'x18" footprint tank is sitting in the garage as we build a stand for it, even then that is not their final home.

In Hawaii the tap water is more suited for South American/Asian fish not sure about the specific ph (supposed to be <7) and everything else in the water (info provided by other local hobbyist)

I cant say anything about the quality of the tap in HI as I am not ther to post any comments but no matter how suitable tap may be for fish kept by each individual, no water stays same, especially in overstocked tank. Thus by using the datas obtained from local water supplier (or your own test) along with datas from your tank, you should be able to determine the course of action if and when needed. If cant, post the datas as per occassion and I am sure someone will respond to your post when there are enough info (datas to compare).

It could be something very elementary & easily resolved.

Hope all goes well!
