fish tanks

$160 for a glass 90gal is that good? 100 long for $240. how do these prices compare?

I got a great 125Wide from GlassCages for $315, love it (picked it up when they were doing a show nearby)

I ordered a 75gal acrylic from Glasscages in Nov, perfect timing for their Dec 1st scheduled truck delivery to the Chicago area. Good price, arrived in good shape, and there were about 20 other people out there at 9am on a cold winter morning picking up their own tanks, including a couple of 300gal tanks.

I did a lot of looking online and in city for a 75gal acrylic and Glasscages had the best price.

that one seems to be all acrylic. i found glasscages.com during a search on here it looks like a good one.

i have two glasscages tanks. they are heavy/overdone, their silicone work is very messy, and the way they do the trim is sometimes very wierd. quality of customer service is low. if you get a large tank, make sure that the openings on the back of the tank are large enough to fit any HOB filters you plan on using.

a quick google search will give you more experiences, and might want to check the BBB as well.

even though their prices seem low, after everything (150g tank, stand, delivery fee [$100], glass tops) i saw a 220g tank in a store for only about $200 more. in addition, you have to finish the stand yourself and the doors in the stand are inset, not hinged. plus most aquarium companies have a lifetime guarantee, while glasscages is 90 days and under pretty strict conditions. i will not buy from them again.
