fish that people seem to love but you dont care for

allecb, your forgiven..., deelywoman, as a southern gentleman i would never fight with a Lady... now the physics of superman is something else.. some thing i never could figure out. superman flys in to grab the crook, who promptly whips out his trusty 6 shooter and starts blasting away.. of course the bullets just bounce off supermans chest, but when the guns empty he throws it at SM and SM ducks..

that's not even a problem for me, i think he ducks to make the bad guy have to watch where he's going. i have issues with superman catching lois lane as she's falling (most likely at terminal velocity) and not slicing her in three when he catches her with his "man of steel" arms.

but that has nothing to do with fish >.>

ok lets get back to fish... what is that beautiful angel in your avatar? i'm about to give up on my african tank..75 gallon. and start another planted tank maybe just angels and thats a pretty thing.

I really don't like cories at all. I am also opposed to most livebearers, although lately I have considered setting up a guppy-only tank just to try them out. I tried angelfish, didn't like them very much, kinda boring. Now I'm hooked on rainbows - MUCH more interesting. Can't stand goldfish, just an orange carp. My SAE is kinda boring too now that he's old and lazy. I do NOT like blue crayfish. they freak me out.

Guppies have never caught my interest either have mollies (except the Green Sailfin Molly) or platies or swordtails although I want some platy's so I could breed and feed to my cichlids. I use to dislike loaches but have a respect for them now after reading up about them along with Cories and BN Plecos. The regular Gourami when full grown look ugly there nice in a way but would never own one. Most Rift Lake Cichlids from all three lakes there are a few exceptions. Most dwarf cichlids suck minus the rams and few others. Barbs Rasboras and Danios I dont care for either along with most tetras. Also dislike Pirahna's

What can I say I love my big cichlids no matter how common they are like O's or JD's or hard to find like my loisellei's.

Dislike most hybrids and all Dyed n Tattooed fish.

i've been told it's just an altum with really extreme coloring. i wouldn't know more than that; i snagged the pic off of a google image search >.>

Discus. So difficult to take care of and all do they do is look intensely dainty.
Bubble-eyed or whatever goldfish. They just... no. Just no.
Clown loaches. I don't see what's so special about them compared to smaller, more attractive (IMO) botiine loaches.
Mollies and platies. Of any sort. The solid black mollies look nice, but eat everything, poop everywhere, and throw babies all over.
Chinese Algae eaters. WHY would you want something that eats your fish?
Most African cichlids. So nasty.
Pangassius catfish. It's unfortunate that they're bred to be put in small tanks that they quickly outgrow.
Oscars. A whole tank dedicated to one oversized cichlid with a dopey expression that gets worse as it gets older.
Dwarf gouramis. The breeding and hormone injections are unfortunate.
Anything tattooed or dyed.

Cories, I dont know why

Fancy Goldfish, the ones that have extreme traits like the huge eyes or watever they are

to reply to the original intent of this thread... i hate goldfish period, particularly the deformed ones. any fish that has been bred out of its normal shape. and anything dyed or tattooed
