well me personally I'm not hating on them i just wouldn't have them in my tanks not that their not beautiful in their own right.
Hate is a bit strong, but I am opposed to Blood Parrots and I don't care for Oscars (they look to have some kind of skin disease). Bettas are overrated and any googley-eyed fish just gives me the creeps. It's surprising that plecos were only mentioned a few times given their invasive, destructive nature. I happen to think they're one of the coolest looking fish ever!
SAE and the only reason being a LFS sold me one saying it was an Otto. It gradually became obvious after it was in my tank for about 10 days that it was not an Otto and so I had to catch it and take it back to exchange for an Otto. Have you ever tried to catch one of those things? They are like little superfast torpedos. My tank looked like a tornado had hit it by the time I finally caught the little guy.
I guess I should say I don't like CAE's either. And tattooed, dyed, deformed to the point of severe unhealthyness (and uglieness... Balloon fish). The only fish I really HATE are "GloFish".
