Fish Wholesalers

I don't know how you feel about wild caught fish, but I like to get mine from FL divers...check out divertom.com and ccritters.com. The shipping is about 45-80 depending on how large your order is. I have 3 tanks and a lot to stock, but you can't beat the prices. I also like bluezooaquatics...when they run sales you can get very good deals! Hope this helps.

i'm planning on going to a wholesaler near me to get panda cories which are hard to find around here. i contacted them and they seemed to have no problems with walk-ins to buy fish, but they won't ship unless you're a retail place.

only problem is they're only open monday-thursday which is pretty inconvenient for me. they also don't have any guarantees on their fish (but my preferred lfs don't either).

I took a look and WWW.tfdfish.com has some crappy prices for wholesale. a LFS cant stay in biz at those prices.
I think you
re better off with bluezoo

hmmm

a wholeseller not selling directly to a 'retail' customer is a norm.
you may find some wholesellers with retail outlets tho.

remember the reason the wholeseller is in the market..their primary concern is to supply retailers. it is the bulk of their business..word getting out that they sold directly to a customer is bad business on their part.
also there may be 'tax' laws involved..ie the wholeseller does not ahave the appropriate license to sell retail.
if you find one that sells be aware that you may be paying close to retail prices.
good luck.
btw don't be afraid to buy online. I've had good luck with saltwaterfish.com.

yea i know the whole sellers dont want to get in trouble with the retailers but man i wish the retail would come down in my area. the place i was looking to get fish from had the genetically changed Zebra Danios for 2.50 apiece my LFS has them 11.99 apiece. This is why i want to go to wholesellers because retail in my area are price gougers. I mean i dont want or need those particular fish but that just goes to show you what kind of prices they are selling stuff for in my area.
