I've seen people post a wish list before, so I thought I'd do it to get people's opinions about compatibility with my tank and my current fish load.

Currently, I have a 55g, about 30lbs of live rock, sand as my substrate, a protein skimmer, emporer 400 with biowheels removed, and a fluidized bed filter. I have 2 camel shrimp, a serpent star, a hermit crab, a porcelain crab, a blue-green reef chromis and a cleaner wrasse.

Once the ich quarantine is done, this is what I would like to add to my tank (slowly of course):

8 Cerith Snails
5 Turbo Snails
1 Bicolor Blenny
2 False percs
1 Mimic Saddle Puffer
1 Cleaner shrimp

Eventually, when I'm closer to moving to a larger tank, I would like to go with another tang, maybe a hippo again, not sure.

Any thoughts on this load?

EDIT: If this isn't already over load, I'd also like to consider adding a Purple Firefish and a Royal Gramma.

don't add any more than that and the puffer fish isn't reef safe, but if you have a FOWLR then that should be ok. You could have a blue tang in there, but after a few years when he gets to big give it away, i know lots of people who do this.

The puffer isn't a real puffer, he's a mimic puffer, actually, a filefish. :) But either way, it's a FOWLR tank anyway, so no matter. :D

About the blue/hippo tang, what I'm thinking is after I've had more experience with this 55 gallon, I'm going to move up to a 125 or 150 gallon, at which point I'm going to move him over to that tank. :D

Pablo, I wait until I had the new tank. Face it stuff happens and you don't want to get a fish until you can house it for life. Just IMO

You're right, I'm going to hold off.
