Fish??

Do all damsels pick at rock eatin small growing corals & attack other tank mates OR is there a few nice temperd one`s around OR is there any other fish that go in out of live rock & not pick to much at them because i`ve got a pair of clowns & a fire fish & they always stay in full disply & avoid the rock caves ect......

i do have a scooter blem & go`s in the rocks but i`d like some fish not to big that swom in & out of rock work....

My citron gobie is always out in the open moving from perch to perch......quite a character he is too..... I just got a midas blennie who has two holes in the rock that he comes in and out of but when he is swimming through the tank he is great to look at. Other than that my yellow tang is always cruising.

btw, there is no nice good damsel......in fact they should be called damnsels.......devil fish, unless they are in a tank by themselves

i would vote for some small gobies. i want to get some pretty bad at the moment. Clown gobies are awsome, but apaprently some have been known to pick at sps.

got ya loud & clear on the damsels shame tho seen as there are a few nice looking 1`s out there

call me thick but aint a fire fish a fire goby? are am i barking up the wronge tree...

if it is a goby would it mix well with other goby`s?????????

The only problem I see with fire fish+goby combo is that fire fish are said to be teritorial in small tanks. Well, the solution here is a bigger tank.No, a firefish is for the most part unrelated and isn't a goby.

How about a 6 line wrasse? I used to have one and seems like he swam in and out of the rocks all of the time. It's been a while ago, so can't remember too much else about him, except that he was very passive and was always on the move.

but i`ve heard that a 6 lineder maybe agressive 2wards my fire fish.

but i guess every fish is dif no 6liner is the same

6 lines can be agressive towards smaller fish
and firefish will probably only be agressive if theree isnt enough hiding places.

A 6-line wrasse and the scooter blenny would compete for the same food source. Since the wrasse is way faster, the scooter could be left hungry.

I dont know the size of your tank but both my powder blue tang and my flame angel swin throughout the rocks nonstop.
