Fishfriend's 75 Gallon Community Tank

Oh. Well, I'm not sure what either of those are and, afaik, have never tested for them. Should I start to do so?
 
It's not a bad thing to know, although most tank raised fish should be fine with the levels you see in most areas of the US.

GH = General Hardness = Ca2+ and Mg2+ for the most part
KH = Carbonate Hardness = Buffering capacity (resist changes to pH)
 
How do I go about testing these two levels?
 
With gH and kH tests.
I know, sometimes the obvious answer seems *too* obvious, but in this case it really is that simple.

Now I just need to find the tests for sale...
