Fishies!!

I like most everything I have for different reasons.

My Pleco has become pretty much hand tame and does a funny little trick where he floats on his back sticking his mouth above the surface to get blood worms.

My Betta which once a fish I wanted to get rid of has flourished since going into my 210G community. Watching him interact with the other fish has become quite interesting.

Im too lazy to write about the rest, but I like them too. :)

my fav hardy small fish, is the cherry barb, they have NEVER given me any problems at all. But my new fav are silverdollars and angels b/c they ahve similar shapes, and they grow to be my fav sieze for fish, 4''-7''

You have caught me at a bad time, and I can't tell you , I have just recieved a rare wolf fish which grows to over 4 ft in lenght and b/c he is only 2" at the moment I can not say whether he is my favorite fish yet, but it looks as though he will take the title by the way he attacks shrimp. :shark:

I really like saltwater fish, and also cichlids. I need to get a tank with cichlids going. Am also thinking of starting a 40g reef soon.

yeah my goldfish Calico does that too. he'll float on his back for a few minutes..he'll lay really still. a couple times i swore he was dead. i even went and got the net to scoop him out. when i went to scoop him out, he'd flip over and swim off. if my cat Cheese, sits by the tank and watches the fish, Calico will play dead. i guess he thinks if he's dead, she wont try and eat him! the minute she's bored and walks away, he flips over and swims around.

thats hilarious ramirezi!

your goldfish probably has a swimbladder problem, lots do
