Fishless Cycle(Amminia Hydroxide)???

Try using a medicine dropper for accurate dosing. Start with around 1 mL and then test the water to see the ammonia reading. Keep track of how much ammonia it takes to get 3-4ppm (mg/L) and write it down.

Ok guys thanks, now i only have one more question than im done and i will start the cycling...

Do i Declorinate the water before i put it in the tank,??? OR do i put the water in the tank than declorinate it???? and is aqua safe what i need to declorinate it??

When you fill the tank up for the first time it does not matter if you dechlorinate before or after. Once you start cycling it or have fish in the tank, all water added must be chlorine/chloramine free. Chlorine is a disinfectant which means it kills fish/bacteria and needs to be removed prior to entering the tank.

I have a 55 gallon. did anyone record about how manny drops should be added to a 55 gallon for the begining of the cycle??

Angel_Keeper, you cannot count on someone else's ammonia dosage for your tank. You will have to figure it out through trial and error.

Not to be rude, but are you reading the answers you are getting? Two people have already told you that it depends on which ammonia you are using as they are all different.

We also told you that it does matter if you use dechlorinator during a fishless cycle when there are no fish, yet you asked again if it was okay to use it.

Please read the answers and the linked articles.

Thank you

Roan

Well i dont want to be rude too but...... you guys don't give good advice because i Know that you need to have dechlorinated water if You're trying to make beneficial bacteria grow. Chlorine is in the water to kill bacteria. if i dont declorinate it than there will be no bacteria in there to grow..

You've got to be kidding. Yes, you dechlorinate the water. You've been told that, and have been directed to good articles about fishless cycling. If you would bother to take the time to actually read the information, you would have a much better understanding of the process by now, and would stop asking the same questions over and over again. :duh:
