Fishless cycle complete......High Nitrates

new 55 cycled, I have the fish in there for 4 days.

pH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 80+

I have been doing daily water changes, but I can see stress. How can I get these to drop down to liveable levels?

Wow! After verifying your test protocol, I'd immediately perform a larger water change - 50-60%.

What kind of fish do you have in there? Did you check the nitrates of your tap water?

Did a large water change, readings now are:

pH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 5

Now hopefully things will stay at these normal levels.

Now my mystery snail is missing.
